Welcome to the Evening

Well this is awkward.

We have been a professional, original rock band for over 3 years now and we finally have our very own website that is actually worth the time to type in the URL.  Yes it has taken us (me) this long to really cement for us a legitimate web presence.  We have trademarks, copyrights, and legitimacy.  Scary stuff huh?

Welcome to The Evening.

For any of you that have seen us play in the last few years, or listened to our music you know the basic gist of who and what we are.  Thing is though we, like the times, are a changin’.  It’s time to take things to the next level and kick this revolution into overdrive.

We have 1 and a half new members to our group.  We are proud to welcome the one and only MC Archer into the fold.  She plays the violin, sings, and is considerably nicer to look at on stage then I am.  I, however, have been replace.  As much as I enjoy bringing 2 full keyboards, my laptop, a mixer, and other assorted musical equipment with me every show I think Mr. iPod makes more sense.  Finally I can enjoy the spectacle that is a performance of the Evening.

So to sum it up we have a new musician with us, a new stage show, and a new website.  Why should you care?  Well this website will grow more interesting a lot faster.  Paul, our drummer, also is the talented artist behind all of the original works for the Evening.  He draws and creates a lot of obscenely brilliant pieces and you will be able to see his works here.  Our intrepid singer, guitar player, and resident man about town Benny Trouble will share his thoughts about life, love, and being a 20 something single guy in a swinging town such as Boston.  I will also be forcing my words about media and art on you in all forms.  I will talk about music, movies, books, and video games (they are art dammit!  I’m not just a huge nerd).  Andrew is going to share his thoughts about the local music scene as well.

Oh and you will also be privy to live practices, covers, free music, and a lot of greatness from our creative musicianship.  I would tell you to check back every day but that may be a little overkill.  Regardless there will be an endless stream of music, thoughts, pictures, and good ol’ fashion rock’n'roll coming.

Are you with ready?

Brian
